how i can help you?

I am a humanistic and integrative therapist working in Nottingham. I completed my BSc Hons in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Instituite in Nottingham and I have been practising since 2014. I am also a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy which provides me with the ethical framework for my practise.
I have a real passion for my work. I love helping people and I enjoy the diversity of my work. I have worked with clients with a range of issues
My work is underpinned by a set of beliefs I hold. I believe all human beings have intrinsic worth and we all have the capacity and potential for growth and change. We are relationship seeking beings and I believe the therapeutic relationship should be unique to any other. It is at the heart of the counselling process and is the vehicle of change. I work in an holistic manner as this is simply how we exist in the world. I believe in treating the individual as a whole. I am very committed to helping you increase your emotional well being and helping you unlock your full potential. My approach is also based upon non judgement, I will accept you just as you are. I believe we all have our own truth and we are all wonderfully unique.

Whats does humanistic mean?
The humanisitic part is covered by the beliefs that I have which I have just shared with you above. It's also encompassed by the belief that given the right enviroment a change producing enviroment you can change and grow as an individual and move closer to your full potential.

Ok, so what does integrative mean?
For me to understand you and your world I call upon theories which I have learnt in my training. And will use these to guide us through the process.
